 In the beautiful setting of Hyning Monastery\, this retreat day draws o
 n the deep-rooted Christian reverence for the earth and connects scripture
 \, creative writing and nature with personal reflection and prayer. Explor
 ing our God-given nature which embodies creativity\, the day offers an opp
 ortunity for creative writing (poetry\, free writing etc) and the practice
  of a contemplative way of seeing the natural world through the poetry of 
 the Gerard Manley Hopkins. All are welcome\, no writing experience is nece
 ssary.
 Cost £30. (Includes refreshments\, lunch and tea/cake in the aft
 ernoon.)
