(ONLINE RETREAT) | EXPLORING THE ARTS TO DEEPEN OUR SPIRITUALITY AND HUMANITY. We will dive deep into Dylan Thomas’ genius play ‘Under Milkwood’, enjoy the exquisite language of this text which describes the dreams and inner lives of the inhabitants of a small Welsh village. Themes explored include holiness in the ordinary and the beauty of language. We will also be deeply attentive to the famous painting The Sleeping Gypsy by Henri Rousseau which suggests that there is a quiet, protective grace – we’ll be present to the work of art and see where it takes us on our journey of faith…
